GRANTS FOR THE NEW CLUBHOUSE PROJECT

A meeting was held last Thursday 16.7.09 at the sports ground with the Wiltshire representative of the ECB, and a six figure sum could well be available for the new club-house. “All the boxes are ticked” was their quote, so hopefully on receipt of planning approval, funds from regional cricket should be forthcoming.
A meeting with an F.A. official on behalf of the football foundation is in the diary, and with any luck a similar amount might be available. There are a number of conditions which the sports club would have to meet because there is no football member section at present, but a formal link with Salisbury City juniors is a possibility in order to address this.
